Beginning as an intern in 2009, founder AJ Dominique III has over 15 years of experience managing regattas. Over that time, he has over 150 regatta days, both supporting and leading regattas, including:

• National championships

• Regional championships

• World Rowing events

• Local regatta and CVB consultation

RegattaPros was started as a way of helping the rowing community return after the COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns. AJ's experience was already difficult to match, then add the uncertainty coming out of the pandemic, and there was a greater need for experienced regatta direction to help the sport return.

Enter RegattaPros. Since it's launch in 2022, the company has continued to support national championships, including the 2024 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships, helped develop new races and venues in Rockland and Waco, and even branched out into canoe/kayak racing.
